Customer Care Agent

We are looking for a Customer Care Agent in Hungary to join the rapidly growing Barion team!

We specialize in data-driven payment solutions for e-shops but offer a variety of different payment methods to businesses. Our goal is to create a cashless society with the help of the latest paytech solutions. Barion is currently present in Austria, Czechia, Germany, Hungary and Slovakia.

What you'll do

Your responsibility as a Customer Care Agent will be to manage customer request and complaints from Hungarian, German, and Austrian markets. You will also be responsible for customer satisfaction which means that you have to manage their needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and deliver a positive customer experience. Most of your time will be dedicated to solve and escalate complaints across a number of communication channels. Barion is based in Budapest, but you will need to support the company in its expansion to Hungary, Germany and Austria that will allow you to work remotely all the time.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing customer complaints, objections through official customer support channels
  • Managing administration, communicating, and coordinating with internal departments
  • Answering phones from customers professionally and responding to customer inquiries and complaints
  • Following up complicated customer calls where required
  • Providing customers with the organization’s service and product information
  • Providing customers with technical support
  • Recording details of comments, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken
  • Supporting the customer care, sales, and account management teams
  • Handling and documenting post mails
  • Managing Account Verification
  • Managing Video Identification
  • Managing Personal Identification

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience as a Customer Care Agent
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
  • Hungarian citizenship and residency
  • Fluent Hungarian, excellent German, and English
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
